Here is a very luxurious gadget indeed – an iPad 2 worth a whopping 5 million pounds  (equivalent to 7011 iPad 2 3G 64 GB). For this price, you will be of course entitled to 53 diamonds, including the ones inlaid on the logo on the back. The height of sophistication (or bad taste..), the front of the tablet consists of Ammolite and wait for it…. a bone fragment of a T-Rex. Yes, you read that’s right, a real dinosaur bone!

The iOS 4.3.1 update could soon be available in a fortnight according to the guys from Boy Genius Report.

No major program changes are announced, just some minor fixes and other improvements. Still ,according to BGR, 4.3.1 iOS should include closing a loophole for the jailbreak of the iPad 2. An update to the baseband of the iPhone 3G and the iPad would also be expected.

One of the first complaint that affects the iPad 2 is the quality of photos/videos is pretty disappointing. Conclusions from the first tests ( carried out by MacWorld.com) and user feedback are in fact unanimous on this point, the image capture function is not the strong point of the Apple tablet.

Some users were faced with yellow spots visible on the slab of their iPad. This is a problem already found on other products from Apple and is probably due to insufficient drying time of a chemical used to bond the slab. According to Apple, the spots disappear after a few hours of use.

Fortunately, the iPad 2 does not boil down to these few criticisms. Many people welcome the bulk and weight compared to the iPad 1. Similarly, the dual processor allows the  iPad second generation to benefit from increased responsiveness and processing speed. Coupled with a graphics chip which is more swift, the outlook is encouraging, especially for future games to be developed on the iPad.
